Three Koi, Single Handpainted Tile

Three koi are suspended in a clear pond, sparkles of sunlight reflect off the rocks and water. I incorporated a lot of shadows into this piece to lend extra depth.

This is a one of a kind design that is completely handpainted with underglazes, then fired with a glossy clear coat on top for longevity. This tile measures 12x12 and can be used as an art display on a easel or in a shadowbox, or can be placed into an indoor tile installation like a shower or stove nook, wall, or any application you can think of for a custom tile.
