Toucan and Bromeliad on a Mossy Branch Handpainted Tile

This big and bold tile is adorned with a colorful toucan perched on a mossy branch that is covered with bright bromeliads. In the background are dramatic dissipating storm clouds, but the sun is now streaming through and lighting the curtains of moss from behind. This is an original design and completely handpainted from start to finish. Clear glaze over the top ensures a long lasting finish. 

These are lowfire tiles fired at cone 06 and are not appropriate for floors, but can be used in a range of other projects- like tub or shower surrounds, fireplace surrounds, backsplashes, feature tile behind stove, or simply display on an easel or in a shadowbox. 

This tile measures a large 12 inch square and approximately 1/2 inch thick
