Barn owl in firefly woods mug

This amazingly cute owl is peeping out from his perch in a beautiful birch tree. Fireflies are coming out as the last of the evening sun sets.

This mug is extensively painted around the whole outside, it is gorgeous from every angle! Unglazed and burnished painted areas stand out with colorful glazes, providing an interesting tactile and visual contrast. Carved lines are glaze filled.

All unglazed areas are treated with liquid quartz which provides protection from oils, dirt and UV damage.
